Kaveeta Nijhawan, CPA

Kaveeta Nijhawan, CPA joined our firm in 2019.   Kaveeta earned a graduate degree in Finance from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, India.  She earned her BS degree in accounting from N.M. College Mumbai University and also holds a diploma in business finance from the the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts in India.   She obtained her CPA credential in 2024.

Kaveeta assists our small business clients with all areas of accounting services, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, business tax, and other state and local tax issues.  Kaveeta is experienced in federal income tax preparation for both business entities and individuals.  

Prior to joining our firm, Kaveeta worked in accounts payable for the Regional Accounting Service for a large grocery chain in Nashville, and as a full-charge bookkeeper for a community church.  

Kaveeta began her career in finance, managing the fixed income securities desk of an investment company in Mumbai.  She gained experience working as a broker in the bond market on the National Stock Exchange- Mumbai, India.  Upon relocating to the US, Kaveeta obtained her insurance producer license and worked as a producer for life, health insurance and annuity products.  Though she began her career in finance, she has realized that her passion lies in the accounting profession.

Kaveeta is married and has two children.  In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and watching movies with her family.
